Sure, it offers more than you may need, but the cost is good and the free and extensive video tutorials will likely take your photo editing skills to a higher plane. Standalone and as a Photos app extension this is a cheap (relative to the full Photoshop app) which does just about everything you could want. I have posted in these forums in the past an exhaustive study I undertook to find an app that was at least as good as Apple's Aperture (no longer supported) but not so expensive or comprehensive as the full-blown Photoshop.Īs a purely personal choice, my view is that, at $49, Affinity Photo app meets, indeed exceeds, those criteria. I suggest that you may need to reconsider your photo editing requirements and possibly go for a more comprehensive app which acts independently as well as being fully fledged Photos app extension - and a reasonable price. I note the other apps you use and Pixelmator is certainly a competent photo editor. This is not due to discourtesy, but reflects the fact a "quick and dirty" app with such a limited purpose probably doesn't exist any longer. Noticed that your very reasonable request for help has gone unanswered for some days.
